Birth is such an intimate experience and I really believe you have to have a connection with those who are present at your birth. I cannot express how thankful I am that we found Jolene! I interviewed another midwife and just felt like there was no warmth. I didn’t feel comfortable talking with her and felt hurried while meeting with her.
When I interviewed Jolene I sensed she genuinely cared about her clients. She answered all my questions thoroughly and I could tell she was extremely knowledgeable. I spoke with a few other mothers who had used her and they only had great things to say about her.
Throughout our visits, she took time to answer my questions and gave suggestions and tips when I needed them. I never felt rushed but always felt that I was the priority at that moment. Her honesty, compassion, knowledge and genuine care for her clients was above and beyond. She was always quick to get back to me if I had any questions.
During the birth she was amazing. She was hands-on when I needed her to be. She was a calming encouraging presence and I cannot express how much better this birth was than our previous one. I would only ever birth with Jolene again and would highly recommend her.
